TRAUMA & CRISTIAN COACH | ENTREPENEUR | AUTHOR
I am Kenya Peoples Holley
A survivor, coach, speaker, entrepreneur, and creative dedicated to helping others discover that healing is possible.
My story did not begin with ease. I am a survivor of incest and childhood sexual abuse. I know what it feels like to carry silent pain while appearing strong on the outside, to smile through scars, and to keep moving while feeling broken within.
But I also know what it means to heal .
As a young mother, I lived in public housing and relied on food assistance while working to build a better future for my daughter and myself. I refused to let my circumstances define my destiny. With faith, determination, and a willingness to start over, I entered the insurance industry a decision that changed the trajectory of my life.
For more than 25 years, I have built a successful career as a licensed Life Insurance Agent and Independent Adjuster, helping individuals and families protect what matters most. Along the way, I also served in elder care, where I discovered the power of compassion, presence, and simply being there for people during life's most vulnerable moments.
Those experiences shaped not only my career but my calling.
Today, I am a Certified Life and Trauma Recovery Coach (ICF), speaker, and founder of Kandles by Kenya. Through coaching, teaching, creative experiences like Wicks, Wax & Worship, and meaningful conversations, I help people move beyond survival and embrace healing, hope, and purpose.
I believe healing is a journey that requires courage, truth, and grace.
I believe our past does not determine our future, and that restoration is possible no matter where life begins.
Whether I'm coaching, speaking, creating candles, or simply sharing my story, my mission is the same:
To inspire others to heal deeply, live intentionally, and walk confidently in the purpose God has placed on their lives.
My story is proof that broken places can become places of strength, and that with faith, perseverance, and hope, new beginnings are always possible.
Welcome, I'm honored you're here.
I challenge women who know they’re called for more to rise above the trauma and struggles that try to keep them stuck. Life isn’t always easy, but peace is still possible. You can love yourself unapologetically, break free from the lies your past tried to sell you, and reclaim your power. It’s time to step fully into the life you were always meant to live.
